Labor Exchange organized by YCOWA

 On May 14, Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association organized Labor Exchange by arranging trainees from previous Occupational Safety and Health training, at Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association’s safe house.

There were 14 female workers and 4 male workers from Bang Saung Kwal who participated previous No. (1) Occupational Safety and Health and from Mae Tao and Pha Htaung village who participated No.(2) Occupation Safety and Health.
 In this Labor Exchange, facilitators and participants discussed about working condition and health care condition on different work places.
“ The reason of this Labor Exchange is for workers to make better work place by discussing about employers do not understand occupational safety and health?, how do workers use equipment?, what are they challenges in order to make good working condition?, and  do workers obey caution signs? Do workers use tools systematically? And we want to message to workers prevention is more effective than healing. Moreover, we discussed about how trainees will make advocacies in order to make better work place such as public purified water, toilets, dining rooms, wire cables system after this labor exchange.” said by one of the organizer who is in charge of YCOWA’s training team. 
  Two community volunteer were selected as leader for coming Occupational Safety and Health’s program to contact with others organizations by majorities’ vote.
