Yaung Chi Oo Workers’
Association has organized Safety in work condition and health care training at
Sapal Phyu Day Care centre, Pha Htaung ward, Mae Thaung Tite, in February 25th,
2016.
There were 27 participants
who were factory workers, plantation workers, and construction workers in Mae
Thaung Tite region.
“We, Yaung Chi Oo
Workers’ Association have been promoting Labors rights, Human rights and others
rights in Maesot region. We have provided two times this training, Safety in
work condition and health care training including this time. The reasons why we
provide this training is to avoid the dangerous situation and to work happily
without any diseases” said the program manager of this training, Ko Myo.
In this training, the
trainers discussed about the situation of dangerous physical and mental
injuries and showed video clips about Safety in work and health care.
This training is
about avoiding dangerous working situation, the knowledge to use the equipment
in working condition and being aware of insisting for those equipment from
employer.
One trainee from
garment factory said “This training is valuable for us because I have realized that
the purified water, toilets, and clean places for breathing are very important
and I have known how to prevent from dangerous condition and health from
materials that we use in every day. “

Association has more plans to provide Safety in work and Health Care training.
