Myanmar embassy notifies Myanmar migrant workers to avoid brokers for CI process

A Myanmar embassy in Thailand has announced Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand avoiding Brokers for CI process and make CI by oneself.
On March 10th, Myanmar Embassy also notified migrant workers to insist for border pass documents at relevant labor office when workers have to pass restricted area while making CI.  
Moreover, Myanmar Embassy encouraged workers to complain relevant CI officers if workers have to pay extra money.
 “The main point is not to make CI with brokers. Brokers will ask more money and the problems will exist. So, we complain police to arrest brokers if brokers are terrible.” Said U Moe Aung Khaing, workers affair embosser.  
He added workers who got CI go to stamp visa at relevant immigration office.  
 “I want to say pink card holders not to worry. We will make all of them to get CI” said U Moe Aung Khaing.
 “Workers worry that they will not get CI until water festival” said Ko Saw Maung, workers activists.
In Thailand, pink card holders are made CI for Myanmar migrant workers with Thailand-Myanmar’s agreement since March 3rd.
Myanmar migrant workers said 800,000 pink card holders, 1,500,000 aged four and six years passport holders and about Myanmar migrant workers 2.5 million’s cards are about expired. Now, CI has two years visa and CI card holders can go through the whole Thailand and Myanmar. In CI process, national ID and family census are not needed to show according to Ministry of Workers Department’s announcement.
Maesot, Maesai, Ya Naung, and Samutparkan have one camp in each for making CI and Mahachi has two camps so that there are six camps.
