On November 13, 2016, 10th Burmese
Traditional celebration (Ka Htain) was held by Yaung Chi Oo Workers’
Association and Myanmar migrant workers at Myaitar Thuka monestary, Kyun Taw
ward, Mae Ku village, Maesot.
The migrant workers from Mae Taung
Pai, Naw Ki Pha, Pha Htay, Mae Taung Phat, Mae Pa, borderline and Mae Sot
Market donated money for that celebration. What’s more, the members of YCOWA, others
volunteers donated as well.
One of the officers of YCOWA said “the
main reason of this celebration is to preserve Burmese Traditional Celebration”.
20,755 baht was donated to monastery at 12 p.m. and the migrant workers from Sanot Garment factory treated guests who came to that celebration.
