Celebration of making Burmese traditional food (Hamanae) was held at Sapal Phyu Day Care Center founded by Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association at 5 pm, February 21, 2016.

committees, Burmese migrant
Workers and Thai local people celebrated
happily and there were 120 people in total.
There were three Htamanae bowls in
total. In addition, some of Htamanae was donated for Tapotetway full moon day
and people who participated were fed.
That celebration was organized by
Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association and U Ko Hein, Supervisor of Day Care Center
said “Because of this celebration, we can preserve our tradition even though we
are on abroad. We have go friendship between with Thai local people who have
similar culture with Burmese people”.
He added “we will celebrate annually
and more migrant workers are supposed to participate. The aim of this full moon
day is to avoid evil, keep merit and clean your mind by Buddha. We will cooperate
each other with love so that we can success in the future”.
