Fire caused in the dormitory of garment factory workers from SPT Knitting Co. ltd yesterday
Evening, started around about 2:30 pm and burned all over 300 small rooms in front of the factory while all the workers were at work, no one got injuries and were safety. It could stop around 3 pm by the assists of Mae Sot fire department.
By the accident of fired, currently no places to stay for about thousand workers, staying temporary in the field of around the factory. To support essential needs for those workers whose things were caused by the fire accident, cooperating with Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association, NGOs and other CBOs from Mae Sot.
