Over 70 workers dismissed from a Korean Factory

Due to the firing over 70 workers without any reason, there has been conflict between workers and employer at Myanmar Hae Wae Garment factory of a Korean at South Oakalar Pa Town ship, Yangon.

Daw Than Than Oo, a leader of workers said to RFA “all the workers are being anger at employer firing over 70 workers without notifying when they went to work to the Factory”.

Those who were being fired had participated in anger demonstration that is concerned with replacing their members 19 workers from factory department of quality in charge to another positions on last November 9.

They are now going to sue Korean employer to face lawsuit until to state worker office for this intolerable actions from employer. There are over 1800 employees currently at Myanmar Hae Wae Garment factory.
