Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association,
Burmese Migrants Workers, Volunteers, and some students from Yangon
Universities went and donated six villagers, 600 households who were suffering
from flooding on August 17, 2015 at 7 am.
The
flooding situation of Ka Lot Thout village in Tite Kyi Township and the
villages in Irrawaddy was anxious. Moreover, recuses were rare to come to those
villages. One of the Ka Lot Thout said “Since that village was flooded, only
three rice budget bucket (Myanmar Unit) nearly 4 kilo. Even though they saw
recuses car passed nearby their villages, they did not get any help.
One of the household member said “Once a day, three or
four recuse cars pass my village. Sometimes, villagers helped to push those
cars in muddy places. However, villagers got nothing”. Yaung Chi Oo Workers’
Association and Burmese Migrant Workers are helping the villages that any
recuse were not able to go. Those villages were Pa Khon, Tayorhla, and Sis Kone
village in Da Nu Phyu Township and Ka Lot Thout village in Tite Kyi Township,
Yangon Division.
