No. 2/2015 sewing
training is given to the migrant workers by Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association
on August 21 at safe house.
There are 10 attendants
and Oo Ko Myo is an instructor from Yaung Chi Oo Workers’ Association. He said
“The purpose of this training is that there were many factories in Thailand for
Burmese migrant workers. Therefore, they will be easy to get a job if they
accomplish these skills. Moreover, even though they go back Burma, they will
get a career for their lives. Currently in 2015, there are two times for sewing
training and will continue in the future. One of the worker said “Although they
come to Thailand where has more jobs opportunities, their wages will be low
unless they have any career. As a result, they come to this training by Yaung
Chi Oo Workers’ Association from their place. This training is a basic sewing
training and it will take for one week.
