Strike workers from
Mae Sot MAPPAREL sewing clothes factory got agreement contract of their demands
from their employer on July 5, 2012. They started to demonstrate to get higher
salary and demanded other worker’s rights on May 14, 2012. They had signed
agreement at the office of worker protecting, Thailand. Included demanding are
to get basic salary 226 baht per day, to pay regularly, to have one day off a
week, to be justice and other demands. M APPAREL sewing clothes factory is the
first factory that confirmed legally to pay employees basic salary 226 baht per
day by demonstrating on April 1, 2012.
