On March 3and 4, Yaung Chi Oo workers association held a community discussions with agricultural workers and factory workers from Mae Ku village and factory workers form Mae Pa village. And the discussion aims for the workers to know about improved working conditions, safety in work and to help other fellow workers. The discussion was conducted by Ko Myo Zaw, Ko Htwe Naing and Ko Sat from Yaung Chi Oo workers association. In March 3, they discussed about the working conditions, safety measures and their legal rights with the agricultural workers in the Mae Ku. On March 4, they discussed with the factory workers from Mae Pa about the problems the workers’ currently facing, the process of applying for temporary passport, and their legal protections.
